Many in the petroleum transportation industry recognized the name Morania Oil Tanker Corp. for its excellence in safe operation and customer satisfaction since 1947. In March 2000, Morania merged into Penn Maritime Inc. This merger was largely transparent to both companies' valued customers. Penn and Morania has been affiliated since 1985 sharing common ownership, management and headquarters all of which remain unchanged.
