Penn Maritime Inc. currently owns and operates 19 barges and 13 tugboats making it the largest U.S. coastal transporter of heated asphalt products. Eighteen of Penn Maritime's barges are either double bottomed or double hulled and the company continues to add double hull capacity to its fleet through additions and conversions. Penn Maritime has over 1,700,000 barrels of double hull capacity and over 98 percent of total fleet capacity is either double bottomed or double hulled.
